SAFETY NOTES ON LITHIUM POLYMER (LiPo) BATTERIES

Lithium Polymer cells have very strict charging requirements:

1. ALWAYS charge Li-Po batteries with the recommended charger.
2. NEVER leave Li-Po batteries unattended whilst charging.
3. ALWAYS charge Li-Po batteries on a fire-proof surface away from any flammable material.
4. ALWAYS have sand or dry fire extinguisher to hand in the event of fire - NEVER USE WATER.
5. ALWAYS keep Li-Po batteries out of the reach of children and animals.
6. ALWAYS handle Li-Po batteries with care.
7. NEVER put loose batteries with uncovered terminals in your pocket/bag.
8. ALWAYS allow battery to cool after use and before re-charging. Failure to do so can damage cells and reduce battery life.
